In the beginning, it is probably not a good idea to eliminate your most favorite unhealthy food. Rather, begin to scrutinize foods in your diet that are easier for you to part with. Easy Tricks to Fight Acne

We are taught from birth that washing our face is something that we need to do every day. Hardly anybody actually likes to wash their face at the end of the day and it is something that many of us forget to do. Most of us spent our teenage years stressing out over breakouts and acne and, even so, as adults we still grumble about washing our faces, especially in the evening. The problem is that, in order to keep your pores free of dirt, bacteria and other debris, you need to wash your face regularly. Are you prepared to be the only adult you know who still fights acne every day? Read on to learn a few tricks to help you keep your face clean and keep the acne away!

Wash your bedding regularly. For some people, keeping their blankets and sheets and pillowcases clean is not a priority. If you have problems with acne, you cannot afford to be one of these people. You will want to wash your linens, especially your pillowcases every few day or two. This will help you make sure that excess dirt and debris will have a harder time finding their way into your face while you sleep. You should also take care to always wear clean clothing and pajamas. Pulling yesterday’s nightshirt over your face could deposit enough dander to clog a few pores and by morning you could be sporting some new spots.

Try not to let your hands touch your face. Most of us don’t realize just how often we touch our faces during the day. It is partly all of this touching that helps to clog our pores and cause breakouts. Give yourself a minute to contemplate this. If you touch something and then touch your face, in essence, you are touching your face with that something. Your hands always have a thin layer of oil on them and when you rest your face in your hands, you are transferring that oil into your pores. This is also one of the reasons colds are so easily transmitted: you touch something that has germs on it and later brush your face with your hands which gives those germs easy access to your nose, mouth and eyes–prime entry portals! This is just one reason why touching your face with your hands is a bad idea.

Keeping your hands clean is a must if you can’t make yourself stop touching your face. Keep the zits away by washing your hands a lot throughout every day.

If you do wake up to an acne flare up, do not let yourself pick at your face! Do not squeeze pimples or pick at zits. You never want to mess with your acne. Cleaning your face-even when you are broken out-is perfectly acceptable but keep those fingers off of your acne the rest of the time! It is possible that, when left to heal naturally, acne can take a few days to complete the process. What would your rather have happen? A pimple on your face for a couple of days or a pimple scar for the rest of your life?

Keeping acne away does not have to involve expensive or complicated facial care routines. Cleaning your face regularly will help you fight against acne. Don’t forget that the skin on your face is sensitive to so be gentle! A thorough cleansing is possible without having to resort to heavy scrubbing!
